Home For Almost 3 Months

Hi there,
Well we have been home for not quite 3 months and it feels like we have had Mara forever. So much has happened in this time. Mara is growing and learning so quickly it's astonishing. She's walking now. She stands, takes a few steps and then falls or squats. She does this all day long. Which makes for a very tired baby. Which also makes for a very happy Mommy seeing as Mara does not believe in napping. She says a few words, "Mara", "Momma", "Dadda" or "Baba" and sometimes "baby". She does this mostly when she points to our photos of China. She can sign "milk", "eat", "more", and "all done" which she may or may not use in context. :) She can point out her nose (which she immediately picks), head, ears and head. She is a barrel of laughs.
We had a terrific fall. We managed to spend some time at the cottage, where we played in the leaves and went for a few hikes with my family. We visited with Lee's family and spent time at White Lake. We also visited many many friends and had a ton of fun play dates. We visited a pumpkin patch and are really looking forward to Halloween next Tuesday.
We had a fantastic lunch and dinner with Amy, Dave and Molly and Chris, Caroline, Sephanie and Sophie recently. Chris and Caroline posted photos on their blog. We just can't believe how lucky we are to have met such wonderful people. The girls play well together, I hope they close friends. Also Mara and I see Sophie and Caroline every Wednesday at swimming class which is just a blast.
We are really looking forward to seeing the group in TO in November. We absolutely can't wait to see how all the girls are doing. We miss you all so much. Here are some photos as of late...Enjoy...
